This customer had a sinking concrete walkway leading up to the house.

The sinking and uneven concrete were creating a trip hazard for not only the customer herself but friends and family as well. From years of water damage underneath the soil, the team had to come up with a solution to help lift, level, and seal all cracks within the walkway. Walkways and sidewalks are exposed to a lot of wear and tear. When the soil supporting the concrete becomes weak, the concrete can crack and sink. There are many things that can create a void beneath the slab, such as erosion from rainwater or gutter runoff, or a tree root that has rotted over time. Dirt fill underneath the slab that has not been well compacted can also create voids beneath the concrete.

The Solution

PolyLevel® is a fast, effective option for repairing your sunken concrete driveway.

First, your contractor will drill small holes in the slab. Then they will inject a high-density polyurethane through the holes. The polymer will spread beneath the slab and lift it up. Finally, the holes are patched and the cracks are filled. You’ll be able to use your driveway within one day.

PolyLevel uses high-density polyurethane foam to fill voids and stabilize and lift sinking concrete slabs. The expanding properties of the two-part urethane formula allow for accurate leveling of the slab. The result is a waterproof repair that’s much more permanent than mudjacking and other common concrete repair methods.
